Nothing is really online at the moment, sadly. The micronation is mostly me and some friends from school, and we communicate mostly over Windows Live Messenger or at the cafeteria table. When my friend gets his server set up, we can put our website up.
My languages are mostly similar in grammar to Romance languages, and one (Calašan) has some very obvious Spanish influences - not too surprising, since I started it in 7th grade when I started learning Spanish.
Forgot to mention that "Nathan Whitehead" isn't actually my real name, but it's the name I use online to protect myself against identity theft and all that, as well as my pen name for the stories I have yet to finish.

2. What's your favorite dish/drink? Stir-fry...Root Beer... Root beer, the nectar of the gods! That would be tremendously frustrating, as the question stipulates that you will be on the island for the rest of your life. Apparently, you will just be very unhappy there.

Great minds think alike. Or great tastes... desire alike. Or whatever. It always thrillls me to see the language is still drawing people to Talossa. That's my first love in Talossa as well.

1. What are your hobbies? Comedy (I run a stand-up show, and perform myself), bicycling, art.
2. What's your favorite dish/drink? Food: Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai, Korean, Middle Eastern Beverage: coffee, maté, tequila, beer, water
3. Do you have any pets? Nope.
4. Do you collect anything? I'm sort of an anti-collector.
5. What countries have you visited so far? Mexico, Canada.
6. If you were going to stay on a deserted island for the rest of your life, what three things would you take? A good water purifier, as many sheets of corrugated sheet metal as I could manage, and a hat.
7. What do you think is coolest about Talossa? Activity level and depth of government and culture. It has a solid, and well-documented, presence.
8. Have you talked to your friends about Talossa? If so, how did they react? A bit, and most reactions are polite disinterest.
9. What is not fun about Talossa? Sometimes participation level of certain citizens is frustrating. I wonder what percentage of cits take Talossa seriously.
10. What could be done to integrate Talossans more? This forum is a great step. Just need to promote more activity here. I'll try, for my part!

Eu améu ocså el xhigaréu (root beer)! Is root beer widely available in Wales? I was under the impression that it was difficult to find and not very popular outside the U.S.

I only have it when I'm in the States. The rest of my family think its flavour is too 'medicinal,' though I disagree.

Root beer. When I was in the USA, I drank Dr. Peppers', which tasted like something alien that will not sell well in continental Europe; I even drank hot Dr. Peppers', fresh from a bottle that had been in the trunk of the car during a sunny day on the road in New Mexico, but on root beer I had to give up after half a can.

The Cestours make a good root beer just north of Talossa. It's called Sprecher and it's awesome. I like their Black Bavarian beer, too.

1. What are your hobbies? Rock climbing, camping, fencing, shooting, splitting wood with a hatchet (very theraputic), pioneering, Talossa and no doubt many more things that I have forgotten. 2. What's your favorite dish/drink? Spaghetti Cabonara - Shandy (and Stout but I'll just give an example of one) 3. Do you have any pets? A rabbit called Truffle... 4. Do you collect anything? Leaves from specific trees and pictures of the tree that they came from... ;D 5. What countries have you visited so far? England, Scotland, Ireland and if you count your own country; Wales. 6. If you were going to stay on a deserted island for the rest of your life, what three things would you take? I would say boat, but I've been told that I'm to stay there for the rest of my life, so that doesn't count... A magic hat that would supply me with a hatchet matches, food, matches and such other vitals... Toilet paper in case the magic hat does not come fully equiped with such soft feeling tissue... A rather large gripping book that will likely be long enough and good enough for me not to be bored until I die (cheery thought ). 7. What do you think is coolest about Talossa? The friendly and nice people that like typing words on to various forums which will hopefuly be read by other people who do the same. 8. Have you talked to your friends about Talossa? I have spoken to them about it, most of them couldn't care less appart from Eoin who is also a Talossan... 9. What is not fun about Talossa? The Void between both Talossas! 10. What could be done to integrate Talossans more? Setting aside diferences between the two Talossas (Easier said than done).

Or did he work for the company? Anyway, it was the national drink of the Kingdom if memory serves.

on root beer I had to give up after half a can. Your loss, more for the rest of us. The Cestours make a good root beer just north of Talossa. It's called Sprecher and it's awesome. I like their Black Bavarian beer, too. Ah, yes, Sprecher's root beer. One of the best I've had. It must be the Wisconsin honey. I enjoyed a bottle my one time visiting the GTA back in 2001, and recently rediscovered it several months ago at a local grocery store here in California. I suppose 'Talossan Root Beer' would be root beer with added couscous? I would suggest a root beer infused with a Berber spice blend.

Or a Talossan spice blend. In the Republic we make a cider that's infused with clove, allspice and cinnamon. Those might taste good in root beer.

I remember when a Royalist had come up with some energy drink. Or did he work for the company? Anyway, it was the national drink of the Kingdom if memory serves. Pete Hottelet owns the company that created the product. I don't think it was ever given any kind of national drink status, though. Ah, yes; Brawndo. It's a product from a movie, the nôminâ of which escapes me... IdiocracyHas anyone actually had Brawndo? I thought it was unavailable nowdays. I've tried it. Pete sent me a couple of sample cans for my two-part review of Brawndo for the Talossan Voice. I liked it. Pretty sure it's still available, though it's always been hard to find in stores.

Those sound good, and in fact they are not uncommon root beer ingredients. Others to consider include ginger, coriander (sometimes used in beer beer too), cumin, and chili peppers. Ginger ale or ginger beer contains ginger (obviously) and sometimes contains capsaicin from chili peppers too (some spicier brands). So maybe an ersatz Talossan root beer could be made by spiking a good root beer with a good spicy ginger ale or ginger beer.
