1. What are your hobbies? Learning. Languages, History, Chemistry, and Politics intrest me. 2. What's your favorite dish/drink? Hmm..gumbo- an excellent Cajun dish. It takes all day to make, but it so worth the time because if it's taste. Sadly, Cajun isn't a widely known food genre, but if you have time to make a batch, try it! 3. Do you have any pets? Yes, I have two cats- Sashay (a girl cat named after a French dance move by my sister) and Strider (named after Aragorn from Lord of the Rings). 4. Do you collect anything? I collect coins. But not lame ones- the oldest in my collection is an 1820 quarter, I have a 1863 penny (which is still partly shiny!!!), and many mint-state silver dollars dating from 1840-1950 (or whenever they discontinued it). 5. What countries have you visited so far? One. (Canada) 6. If you were going to stay on a deserted island for the rest of your life, what three things would you take? I would take whoever my wife is meant to be for company, I would bring a book for entertainment, and a knife. 7. What do you think is coolest about Talossa? You can be whoever you want. We have an actual culture, we have a pan-National attitude. 8. Have you talked to your friends about Talossa? If so, how did they react? Yes, my friend is actually a citizen (albeit becoming inactive) 9. What is not fun about Talossa? It's not being physically real. We don't live together in the same geographical area, we don't own land, we exist in binary code for the most part. Should true contact ever happen, it would be phenomenal. 10. What could be done to integrate Talossans more? Be who you are and don't hold back- find common intrests.

Make Art Verbotten, Fritz, JJ, Dan L., or Rajala king of all Talossa. Since this was apparently not considered to be political (unlike whatever Anglatzara said in the Tim Powers thread ), I will note for the record that the attempt was made, and every one of them refused.

traditional Irish fiddle music You play the fiddle yourself? Who are your favourite fiddlers? Myself, I've just discovered Liz Doherty, who I hope will continue recording. Other than that, I've mostly listened to the better-known fiddlers like Tommy Peoples, John Carty, Kevin Burke... All tips are welcome! (Have you listened to any Scandinavian fiddle music? Quite a different tradition.)

1. What are your hobbies? I rewrite history for fun (this is called "alternate history" or "alternative history"), create languages with varying levels of success, have my own micronation, swim, read, follow politics not just of my home nation (the United States) but of the UK, Canada, Australia, and whatever other nation I feel like following. 2. What's your favorite dish/drink? I love seafood, especially salmon and shrimp. As for a favorite beverage, I like skim milk, root beer, and Martinelli's sparkling cider. I do not drink alcoholic beverages. 3. Do you have any pets? One dog and two cats. 4. Do you collect anything? I collect foreign (non-US) and interesting US banknotes and coins. My method of storage is simple - stuff it in a ziploc. 5. What countries have you visited so far? I did my Eagle Scout project in Tijuana, B.C., Mexico. He estado aprendiendo español, and so I also acted as one of the translators on that trip. Sadly, that is the only country other than the US that I have been to. Until the recession hit, my AP European History class was going to go to Europe, but... yeah... not gonna happen now. 6. If you were going to stay on a deserted island for the rest of your life, what three things would you take? 1. My scriptures 2. A computer with an internet connection and a power supply 3. Food, water, the essentials. 7. What do you think is coolest about Talossa? As an outsider I'd have to say that the language and the thriving politics are the coolest things for me. The history also fascinates me. 8. Have you talked to your friends about Talossa? If so, how did they react? My friends in my micronation just dismissed the Talossas as other micronations worthy of study but not of emulation or, even, real contact. My non-micronational friends think that Talossa is just, well, quite strange. In fact, they find the whole idea of nationbuilding to be ludicrous. 9. What is not fun about Talossa? The whole bickering that went on over reunification, the fact that people stake their friendships on Talossan politics, and the whole thing with Ben Madison. 10. What could be done to integrate Talossans more? Well, although I think it would be possible to write a constitution that pleased both the Royalists and the Republicans (I have a few ideas, but as I'm not Talossan I probably accidentally disregard a lot of the key issues and emotions ), the best idea would be that Council of All Talossans that was proposed in the Republic. Maybe run it on this board or something. An EU-like rapprochement between the two Talossas would be beneficial.
